The other day at work Wendy and I were talking about aging. And how you don’t notice it happening, but then all of a sudden you look older.
These polaroids were taken in 2011, before Andrew and I got married. On the far left we were getting ready to go to dinner for Andrew’s twenty-first birthday (sheesh…just saying that sounds like forever ago). The middle image is us at the airport before I left for Italy (I was sobbing, hence the red eyes). Finally after four months apart, we - you know, casually - met up in Austria. Neither Andrew or I had ever been skiing, so there is a photo of us on the far right, getting ready to go down the ‘bunny slopes.’ Here’s a secret: there’s no such thing as bunny slopes in the Alps.
I have a hard time believing this all took place four years ago. In some ways it feels like yesterday. In others it feels like a different lifetime! We are for real baby-faced.
